BAR with M13/40

I am planning to play my M13/40 as British at a local tournament.  I have discovered I am forced to bring A9/A10/A13, since you can’t choose m14/40 for the Regimental HQ (in contradiction with the text)

So the question is what type should I choose? And should I only get the 4 HQ cruisers or get some real platoons.
