Star Wars Armada

I finally got to try Star Wars Armada. Very simple game mechanics. I liked you need to plan ahead with your big ship. A downside is there are only 2 factions and the price. Very expensive a small fleet is 100 £ easy if not a lot more.

Prepainted is nice and get you gaming straight out of the box. But all fleets look the same.

Frostgrave

At KILANI we opted in on the Battle Systems Kickstarter and got a lot of cardboard dungeon terrain. We needed a game to use the terrain and Frostgrave looked like a good choice.

We are using Bad Karmas campaign updates.

We have played 2 4 vs 4 games and we have had a lot fun. Great epic moments like when Kims war hound (his last warband member) killed Lars wizard.

I am using my old Beastmen.

Lasalle

Tried playing some napoleonics at Tinsoldaten. The ruleset Lassale was used, simple fast played. Got to command a French battalion. Looked very promising but Sean Bean did not die as he should and the 95th Rifles broke my back.
