I didn’t have any trucks. BF havn’t released them yet and I didn’t think I would miss them.

1.       Game 1. Lasse – Shutzen

Misson : Hold the Line

Roll of resulted in me attacking. I could have used my trucks L Most of the game was at shoot out with Lasse Pz III. My inf. move slowly forward and got MG’ed

2.       Game 2. Vagn – Shutzen

Mission: Free for all

The battle was centered a round a wood in the middle of the board.  I succeed in focusing all of min armor at one unit.

3.       Games 3. Michael – Czech Panzer

Mission: Encounter

Only my S-35 where a match for the Pz38. My H-39 unit was too small and under gunned in the firefight.  Michael pushed me from an objective and won

Thoughts on early war French:

The amour should be played like soviet armour. Agressiv, massed at one target.

The inf. didn’t do much. Most of time it was place on objectives. When it moved it usual died. It didn’t fire a single time in 3 games.

Old Glory french artillery crew

After a wait for 5 weeks the Old Glory French artillery crew I ordered arrives. The Stytrex order took a week !!!

www.Tinsoldaten.dk  has decided to make a replacement event 9. April. An appropriate date for an early war event.

My French are still going to fight with glory in the fields of Belgium. (More pictures coming shortly)

Plastic Soldier T-34 first look

Michael from the local club www.tinsoldaten.dk have received 10 of the new Plastic Soldier T-34. The details on the model are sharp and crisp and the option to swith turrets is nice.  Compared to battlefronts T-34, it’s lower and not quit as long. Mixing at unit would look odd.

Zvezda, cheap 1:100 tanks !!

I just found at new supplier of cheap 1:100 tanks. The Russian company Zvezda. At the moment they have Panzer II, Panzer III G, T-34 and T-26.  A friend has ordered 3 PzII. More pictures will be posted when they arrive. He ordered them here: http://www.modelhobbies.co.uk/ only 2.46 £ per tank.
