King of Kilani

It was time for King of Kilani, Kilanis Flames of War mini tournament. After 3 games Lars got to size the throne.

I played my old Italians. Went for a fast mobile force. At only 1400 point. I couldn’t find room for any infantry.

I lost against Lars armored British force. I was defending in hold the line. In this game I really could have use and big infantry platoon.

Playing All Quiet on the Martian Front

Lars and I finaly got a game of All Quiet on the Martian Front. A simple but fast ruleset.

We made use of all the Battlefront buildings. It only took 2 1/2 to get them all.

Descent

At Kilani we have played a lot Descent lately. We decided to paint the miniatures from the game. At the end of a playing session we pick a new miniature to paint.

Almost at years later my All Quiet on the Martian Front kickstarter arrived. Trying the find the right paint scheame and the time to paint.

Hill 54 2014

This year the Hill 54 tournament was a double event base on Market Garden. Only list form Battlefront 2 appropriate books were used. I team up with Troels an old Aalborg wargammer  has recently moved to Sjælland. I provide both lists. We played germans , the sign up on the allied side was filled very fast.

We lost all our games J Stugs don’t survive very long when hordes of Fireflys and Challengers roam the fields of Holland. We did have a lot of fun. All our games were against old adversaries know from previous events.

Hill 54 is going to repeat the event next year whit the same rule. Next time we hope to win at least 1 game ;-)

Wolsung Kickstarter

Micro Art Studio is running a kickstarter for thier Steampunk game Wolsung. The goal of the kickstarter is getting 2 new clubs on the market and getting more miniatures out for the 3 old clubs.

I first got the attention of Wolsung from the Beast of  War demo game vid . It looks like at great multiple player game.  With a lot for player interaction.

Lucky me Micro Art Studio are going to attend Essen Game fair and I can save the shipping.
